Salamanca Woman Killed in Auto Accident

A Salamanca woman was killed this morning after a dump truck landed on top of her vehicle on Central Avenue.

According to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies, the van the woman was driving went through a stop sign and was broadsided by a dump truck. The truck then pushed the van into the front yard of a home and rolled over on top of the van, trapping the woman inside.

Officials have not released the woman’s name yet.
