Seminar On Gas Leasing, Water Source Testing Feb. 24

A free seminar on two important aspects of natural gas drilling is scheduled for 6 pm Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Cameron County Courthouse in Emporium. Focus will be on property leasing and protection of private water supplies.

Attorney Dawn Fink of Port Allegany will present an overview of the leasing process. Staff from Seawald Labs of Williamsport will share information on testing of water wells and springs, both before and after drilling has taken place nearby.
