BRADFORD – A State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) assisted Bradford City police today in drug raids on Congress, Pine and Kane streets, and at the Riddell House.
McKean County District Attorney Ray Learn said the Special Emergency Response Team aided city police as those being raided were considered high-risk due to their previous criminal records.
Despite unconfirmed reports of shots fired, police say the raids were conducted without incident.
Today’s raids were an extension of an 18-month investigation that Learn says, “has taken down major suppliers”. The drugs are believed to be supplied mainly by Buffalo dealers.
Learn says more information will be released this evening.
