Sestak Still Behind Toomey in the Polls

HARRISBURG – Two weeks ago we reported on a Quinnipiac University poll that had Joe Sestak and Pat Toomey head-to-head in their bids for a U.S. Senate seat.

The figures from the Quinnipiac poll varied slightly in favor of Sestak as compared to a Rasmussen report released around the same time. The Quinnipiac poll had Toomey at 42% compared to Sestak’s 40%. The Rasmussen poll had Toomey at 45% and Sestak at 38%.

Now, Rasmussen has Sestak behind by 6%, a slight improvement compared to a Rasmussen report released two weeks ago showing Sestak behind by 7%.
