Shinglehouse Man Charged with Indecent Assault
1 min readMILLPORT – State Police in Coudersport have arrested a Shinglehouse man on charges of indecent assault.
Dustin Thomas McDonald, 20, of Shinglehouse, PA, allegedly exposed himself numerous times to an 7-year-old female. McDonald is also accused of making the girl “touch him in an inappropriate manner on at least one occasion”, according to police.
Trooper Glenn Drake of the Coudersport-based State Police barracks said the investigation began after a July 17 interview with the child and Potter County Children and Youth Services.
Officials say McDonald later made partial admissions to the crime while being interviewed at the Coudersport State Police barracks on September 4.
On September 6 charges were prepared and a warrant was obtained for McDonald’s arrest. He was taken into custody and arraigned before on-call District Judge Annette Easton, who set bail at $15,000.
Court records indicate McDonald was charged with Indecent Assault Person Less than 13 Years of Age(M1), Indecent Exposure(M1), and Corruption of Minors(M1).
McDonald was unable to post bail and was committed to the Potter County Jail.
A Preliminary Hearing has been scheduled for September 12th in District Judge Barbara Easton’s courtroom.
