Shinglehouse Teen Life-flighted Following Crash
1 min readSHARON TWP. – A 19-year-old Shinglehouse girl was life-flighted to UPMC Hamot in Erie following a crash on Blauvelt Hollow Road Friday, February 17.
Police say Alexis N. Allen was traveling east along the single-laned roadway when her Toyota Corolla exited the northern side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Police say Allen’s car then continued along the embankment, striking several trees with the passenger’s side, before striking a ditch, spinning clockwise and coming to rest.
Police said Allen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The extent of her injuries and current condition is unknown at this time.
