Shinglehouse Woman Jailed After Pointing Gun at Man, Pulling Trigger Twice

SHINGLEHOUSE – A Shinglehouse woman is behind bars after she allegedly pointed a rifle at a 58-year-old man and pulled the trigger twice. The firearm did not discharge either time, according to police.

Jailed is 54-year-old Christine M. Deyoe, who has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Police say the incident took place at 4 Hyde Road in Shinglehouse on the evening of January 28.

Deyoe is currently being held in the Tioga County Prison on $25,000 bail.
