Shinglehouse Woman Seeks Support in Go-Kart Racing Competition
Kelsie Pease’s journey in go-kart racing began 20 years ago, when her father introduced her brother to the sport. Little did he know, this would spark a lifelong passion in Kelsie, who has since become a force to be reckoned with in the racing world.
Pease’s dedication to the sport extends beyond competition. She is committed to giving back, mentoring young drivers, and supporting the next generation of racers. Her family’s business, Motorworx, is also deeply involved in the technical aspects of go-karting, with her father building engines and her brother Kyle being a renowned racing machinist.
This past season, Pease achieved a major milestone by entering the Unlimited All-Stars Division (UAS) for the first time. She went on to win the Keystone UAS Region, the Western New York UAS Region, and was crowned the Northeast Divisional Champion. Her impressive performance culminated in an 8th-place finish at the national level, solidifying her position among the sport’s top competitors.
Currently, Pease is participating in a social media contest, where the top 10 national competitors are vying for the most likes, comments, and shares on a Facebook post. The competition, which ends on Sunday, can be found at https://www.facebook.com/share/1Z8YzNTYw1/?mibextid=wwXIfr.
