Shop Close To 100 Yard Sales In Coudersport September 1st

Come one, Come all! It is that time again for the Coudersport Town-Wide Yard Sales that will be held on Saturday, Sept 1, 2012 from 8:00 am to 5:00pm in and around Coudersport in Potter County, PA.  Everyone is welcome to come and shop from nearly 100 sales.

The much anticipated event, sponsored by the Coudersport Chamber of Commerce, is being coordinated by Nicki Hafer, Cori Wagner and Caroline Powers, all volunteers for the Chamber.

Tioga Publishing Company in Wellsboro will once again be donating 2000 copies of the map; which will be delivered to various businesses and yard sale locations in and around Coudersport a few days before the event. There are 92 sales listed on the map and several others that didn’t make the map deadline. At least 23 sales will be held on the courthouse square in the center of town by families who live outside of the borough. Two portable toilets with wash stations will be placed behind the courthouse for the convenience of visitors in town. Various families and organizations will be holding bake sales and cooking hamburgers and hot dogs etc. for hungry shoppers.

This is a great opportunity for people to sell what they don’t need and for others to get what they want at bargain prices. Last year’s event brought in several thousand people from all over Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio! Don’t miss out on another great opportunity like this!
