Smethport Man Extradited on Crack-cocaine Charge

BELMONT, N.Y. – Demerio J. Watts, of Smethport, PA was incarcerated in the Belmont county jail after waiving extradition in Pennsylvania on criminal charges of possession and sale of a controlled substance.
Watts, who had been serving an sentence in Pennsylvania on unrelated drug charges, was indicted by a grand jury after he allegedly sold crack-cocaine to agents of the Southern Tier Drug Task Force in 2007.
