Smethport Teen Injured in Motorcycle Crash

KEATING TWP. – A Smethport teenager was transported to Bradford Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries after the motorcycle he was driving hit a truck Sunday.

Police say the 14-year-old boy was driving on the East Valley Road in Keating Township when he lost control of his bike on the ice-covered road, and then hit a truck driven by 51-year-old Paul Wian, of Smethport.

Wian and his two passengers were uninjured in the accident.
