Snow Responsible for Multiple Accidents Today

Emergency personnel have had their hands full today.

Responders from throughout Northcentral Pennsylvania and the New York Southern Tiers responded to multiple calls toady.

Numerous vehicles were reported off the roadway in McKean and Cameron counties. Tractor trailers were reported blocking several roadways, such as the West Eldred Road, Route 6 in Keating Township and Route 219, as even they were having a difficult time navigating through the lake effect snow.

Roads are still hazardous at this time, with more lake effect snow to come.

A Winter Weather Advisory continues for much of our viewing area until 7:00 pm tomorrow evening.

Motorists are urged to cancel travel plans. If you must drive, please be careful and be sure to pack emergency gear.
