1 min readCOUDERSPORT – Tara Snyder, 31, of Whitesville, NY was sentenced Wednesday in Potter County court after pleading guilty to two drug-related felony counts in July of last year.
Snyder and her husband, David Snyder, along with four others, were arrested last year in connection to a multi-million dollar cocaine-ring which stretched from the streets of New Jersey and operated in and around Potter County, PA, and Allegany County, NY.
Tara’s husband, David Snyder, was recently sentenced to serve 34 to 68 years in state prison for his role in the drug ring.
Tara was sentenced to serve 18 to 36 months in state prison on one count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver(F), and one count of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver(F).
Snyder was accepted into a program called Recidivism Risk Reduction Incentive, better known as “Triple R-I”. The program seeks to reduce prison recidivism rates by offering non-violent offenders a course of treatment. Under the program, and with one month credit for time served in county jail, Snyder could be released within 12 months.
Information regarding any probation, community service or fines and court costs was not available at the time of this posting.
The case was specially prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Patrick Leonard of the Attorney General’s Drug Strike Force Section. Snyder was represented by William Hebe, Esq., of Wellsboro. Potter County Judge Stephen Minor heard the case.

I have to agree with Beth. After all that happened she gets out in 12 months? Not right. But nothing anyone can do about it.. Hopefully shes smart enough to use her time wisely and come out clean and with a better head on her shoulders!
