1 min readThe National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory
A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 am to 6 pm Wednesday.
Sustained winds of 15 to 30 MPH with wind gusts of 45 to 55 MPH will make travel hazardous throughout this evening and tomorrow. Look for heavy winds through the AM and an increase in wind speed beginning early Wednesday morning and peaking during midday and early afternoon.
Beware of falling trees, power lines and limbs. Motorists in high profile vehicles are urged to use caution until wind subsides.
Winds are expected to diminish to non-advisory levels by evening.
Affected by this Advisory are the following locations:
Warren, McKean, Potter, Elk, and Cameron counties.
This includes the following areas, Coudersport, Bradford, Clearfield, DuBois, Emporium, St. Marys, Ridgway, Renovo, Wellsboro, Trout Run, and Williamsport.
