Stanley E. Pickering

Stanley E. Pickering, 73, of Harrison Valley, PA, formerly of North Fork, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in his home.  Born March 9, 1939, in North Fork, he was the son of Carl and Jennie Snyder Pickering.  He was employed by the Cowanesque Valley Iron Works.  Surviving are:  a daughter, Mary Ann Barner of Coudersport, PA; four sons, James (Diane Hurd) Pickering of Harrison Valley, Douglas (Tracey) Pickering of Rexville, NY, Timothy (Amy) Pickering of Westfield, and Thomas Pickering of Harrison Valley; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Linda K. Pickering, on March 20, 1979; and a half-brother, Richard L. Snyder.  Friends may call at the Olney Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 am.  The Rev. David L.
