State of Emergency Declared in Wellsville

Wellsville Mayor Donald LaForge last night declared a State of Emergency following severe, destructive localized flooding in the Village.

The flooding has washed out roads and made travel impossible in areas.

Local emergency personnel have been assisting the department of public works and local police in closing roads and redirecting traffic.

A press conference from Village officials is expected sometime today.
