Student Charged with Theft at Northern Potter High School
1 min readULYSSES – A petition charging a known 14-year-old male from Genesee with theft by unlawful taking will be filed with the Potter County Juvenile Probation Department after an incident at Northern Potter High School on September 12.
State Police have accused the juvenile of removing cash from a mislaid wallet, and then disposing of the wallet in the boy’s restroom.
Police say the wallet belonged to a 13-year-old male student.
The accused was allegedly found to be in possession of the stolen cash.
