Sunbury Stabbing Arrests

A third suspect has been apprehended in connection with a violent stabbing and robbery incident that occurred in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, over the weekend. Tiheef Richard Marshall, a 50-year-old resident of Sunbury, was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Northumberland County Prison on felony charges of aggravated assault and robbery, with bail set at $200,000.

Marshall’s arrest follows the earlier apprehension of two other individuals, Paul W. Henderson and Marvin Raheen Lamar, who were also implicated in the crime. Both Henderson and Lamar, aged 42 and 40 respectively, are being held at the same prison facility, each with a $200,000 bail.

According to the authorities, the incident took place in the early hours of December 6, when a 29-year-old male victim was attacked and robbed in the parking lot of a local bar. The victim sustained multiple lacerations on his leg and above his eyes. The perpetrators allegedly made off with the victim’s wallet, phone, and keys.

Investigations by the Sunbury Police Department revealed that the assault was carried out by a group of men, including Henderson, Lamar, and Marshall. Witnesses reported that the attackers used a chain with a padlock to inflict injuries on the victim. One of the witnesses, a woman who was present at the scene, claimed that she saw the men jump the victim and that she intervened to protect him.

Further investigation led the police to a white four-door sedan, which was allegedly used by the perpetrators to flee the scene. Henderson was found at a nearby 7/11 store, where he was taken into custody. A blood-stained knife was discovered in the store’s bathroom, and Henderson admitted to owning the knife.

Lamar was later apprehended after a brief pursuit, and Marshall was identified as the third suspect after a bartender at the scene of the incident recognized him from a lineup. Marshall initially denied any involvement but later admitted to being present at the scene and watching the attack unfold.

The three suspects are scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on December 16. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the need for increased vigilance and cooperation between law enforcement and the public to prevent such violent crimes.
