Suspicious Package Closes Rt. 220 in Centre County

CENTRE COUNTY – A bomb squad is investigating a ‘suspicious package’ along part of Route 220 in Centre County.
Police say the package resembles a pipe bomb, and was found at a DOT work zone.
Workers nearby have been evacuated and a portion of Route 220 between Port Matilda and Bald Eagle has been shutdown.
