Sustainable Tourism Conference Planned In St. Marys
1 min readPennsylvania Wilds will hold a conference on sustainable tourism development Nov. 8-9 at the Red Fern in St. Marys. During a similar session in 2007, several successful community-driven tourism initiatives were hatched, including development of recreation trails and supporting infrastructure. This year, conference organizers will match participants from a variety of backgrounds – small business owners, public lands managers, municipal officials, heritage and tourism professionals and community activists — for new work plans. Applications are due Oct 5. More information is available online at pawildsresources.org or by contacting Janine Morley at (814) 274-4877 or janine@pottercountyedcouncil.org
