Sweden Township Police Dept. Issues Travel Warning

The Sweden Township Police Department today announced the following:

We’re asking that people traveling T-398 Irish Farm rd, T-303 A Frame rd, and T-406 Billy Lewis Rd. use extreme caution due to the heavy volume of traffic from drillers, loggers, and construction workers traveling these highways as well.

Sweden Township has our roads open for ATV/Snowmobiles as well as every day residential traffic, our department has increased patrols in this area of the township to help deter violators. Also these roads have weight restrictions and permits/bonds are required on these and other township roads.

Also it is very important that twp. residents/camp owners display their address at the road or driveway entrance so Fire/EMS/Police can locate and assist them with any needs that they may need.
