Sweden Twp. Police Conduct Traffic Enforcement Detail

SWEDEN VALLEY – Sweden Township Police, assisted by Austin, Galeton and Coudersport Borough Police, conducted a traffic enforcement detail this morning in Sweden Valley.
The officers clocked a total of 182 vehicles driving along a stretch of highway posted at 35 mph.
Police say 13 drivers were cited for various traffic offenses as a result of the operation.
Average speed reported during the course of the operation, which took place between 8:30 am and 11:30 am, was 30.2 mph.
