UPDATE: The previously posted date of October 29th has been changed to October 22.

The Coudersport Rotary Club announced today that on Saturday, October 22th from approximately 9:30 a.m. –  12:30 p.m., various local Sixth Graders will be participating in Tag Day this year; a money jug fundraiser used to support the Rotary Halloween Parade & Costume Contest, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. that day.

Last year, the area’s nineteen (19) youth volunteers raised a total of $673.04, which was distributed as cash prizes to the costume contest winners (total of $450.00), and with over $200.00 to be allocated toward ice cream and candy which is provided to all of the marchers in the Halloween Parade each year.

This year’s youth volunteers, which will be situated with money jugs at various businesses throughout the Borough this Saturday morning; including Jubilee, Costas and Dollar General.  Please support your local parade and make their community service experience a memorable one!
