Tea Party Meeting in Emporium Tomorrow
1 min readCitizens in Cameron County are invited to join in on the growing regional “Tea Party” movement that has already made in-roads in Elk, Potter and McKean counties. An informational meeting on the grassroots citizen advocacy and government accountability movement will be held at 7 pm Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Emporium Firehall.
Tea Party leaders from nearby counties will attend to share their experiences and suggestions. One of the organization’s goals is to pressure elected officials to bring down government spending and taxes.
“If you are concerned over the direction America is heading, you could possibly find some folks with similar interests and maybe some answers,” said a flyer announcing the Emporium meeting. “Please give this important gathering your consideration and attend. American needs you – now.”
