Teen Air-Lifted After Being Struck by Car
1 min readGENESEE – A 14-year-old Genesee male was life-flighted after being struck by a car in Genesee on Saturday, April 28.
State Police in Coudersport say the teen was walking northbound along the berm of the roadway when he suddenly darted across the road. The teen was struck by a 2002 Dodge Intrepid, driven by 40-year-old Deborah J. Perry, of Genesee.
Police say the impact caused damage to the car’s hood and shattered the windshield.
The teen was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville and then air-lifted to Strong Memorial in Rochester, NY.
Police say the teen suffered moderate injuries in the crash. His condition was not available at the time of this posting.
Genesee Fire assisted State Police at the scene of the accident.
