Teen Charged after Overdosing on Stolen Prescription Drugs

ROULETTE – A Roulette teenager faces numerous charges after he allegedly stole prescription medication and then overdosed on the drugs.

Police say it happened at 17 Oak Lane in Roulette on December 3, when police were called to the residence for a drug overdose.

After an investigation, police say Cody Thomas, age 18, overdosed on Xanax and Klonopin prescriptions that he allegedly stole from homeowners Carl Haring, Sr., age 38, and Christine Falkenberg, age 41, both of Roulette.

Police say Thomas will be charged with theft, receiving stolen property, and Act 64 possession in District Court 55-4-01.
