Three Injured in Andrews Settlement Road Crash

ALLEGANY TWP. – Three people were transported to the hospital as a result of an accident that occurred yesterday, January 28, on the Andrews Settlement Road at 9:30 pm.

Police say 18-year-old Heather R. Holley, of Genesee, PA, was driving east on Route 244(the Andrews Settlement Road), when she lost control of her 2005 Chrysler Town & Country on the snow-covered road while negotiating a sharp left-hand turn in the road.

Holley’s car then traveled off the roadway and struck a tree, causing severe front-end damage to her car and injuring her two passengers.

Holley and both passengers, 18-year-old katie L. Kelley, and a 17-year-old unidentified female, were all transported to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville for treatment of injuries.

The severity of injuries was not available at the time of this posting.

Police say Holley will not face charges, as the primary cause of the crash was due to snowy roads.

Holley’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Kightlinger Motors of Coudersport.

Genesee Fire Company assisted at the scene.
