'To Fill A Backpack' Needs Your Help

The “To Fill A Backpack” program has scheduled their first session of packing.

Anyone who is interested in helping should meet at the Riverside United Methodist Church in Roulette on Saturday August 7th.  The church is located on River Street next to the bridge.  We will start at 4pm and go until we run out of product to pack with.  Once everything is setup we will be able to go right down the line and probably finish within a couple of hours.

We are also looking for someone with a truck that can help haul the stuff from the storage unit in Roulette to the church.  Most everything is packed in plastic tubs and we don’t have far to go.

Anyone who is interested in helping please send an email toinfo@tofillabackpack.org and let us know so that we have a rough idea of how many people will be there to help.  If you are the one with the truck, please email me and let me know.

If you have items that you want to donate, please bring them along and we will add them to the collection.
