Ulysses Library to Host Native Potter County Author

ULYSSES – Ulysses Library will host Mr. Shane Seely, author and Potter County native, on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 7:00 PM.

He will present selected readings, answer questions, and engage in group discussion.

Shane is a Senior Lecturer in the English Department and an Assistant Director of the expository writing program at Washington University in St. Louis,  MO.  He is the son of Claude and Nancy Seely of Ulysses.  His first book of poems, The Snowbound House, won the 2008 Philip Levine Prize for Poetry and was published by Anhinga Press in November 2009.

Light refreshments will be served.
