Update on Elk Catholic High School Lockdown
1 min readOfficials have released details surrounding an incident in which all Elk Catholic and St. Marys public schools were locked down.
Police say the entire episode was the result of a prank by two high school students from St. Marys.
The ordeal began after a student from St. Marys, dressed as a janitor with a backpack, entered the Elk Catholic High School illegally. That student was later apprehended.
A second student, also dressed as a janitor, was later arrested by tactical police units at St. Marys High School.
Both students were eventually released to their parents.
