Update on Hebron Center Dump Truck Rollover

HEBRON TWP. – A 1988 Kensworth Triaxle, driven by Thomas Burford, 75, of Port Allegany, suffered moderate damage in a rollover accident that shutdown Route 44 in Hebron Center on Saturday, October 29 at 12:53 pm.
Police say Burford was traveling south on Route 44 when he swerved in a straight portion of the roadway and then rolled over.
Burford was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and only suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
The accident resulted in Route 44 being shutdown for some time.
Coudersport fire, Medic 6 and PennDOT assisted at the scene.
