Update on Kinzua Dam Kidnapping and Rape

Police have released disturbing details regarding the woman who was abducted earlier this afternoon near the Kinzua Dam.
A man described as driving a 90’s black Chevrolet pickup truck or SUV confronted a woman and a man near the Kinzua Dam at around 3:00 pm today on Route 59 in Mead Township. The unidentified man reportedly subdued the man, taped and bound him, and then kidnapped the woman that was with him.
He then raped the woman and left her along Route 321 in McKean County.
Authorities have warned anyone in the area to be on the lookout, as the man is to be considered armed and dangerous.
He is described as 5′ 9″ tall with a beard. The truck or SUV may possibly have Maine license plates with a registration of 5964SB.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Warren based state police.
