Update on Route 6 Rollover Accident

COUDERSPORT – A Coudersport man was transported to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in a rollover accident on Route 6 Saturday at 9:00 am.

Police say 28-year-old Benjamin M. Sanchez, of Coudersport, was traveling west on Route 6 when he lost control of his 2008 GMC Canyon while negotiating a right-hand curve. As a result, his truck left the roadway, traveled up an embankment, and then struck a tree before rolling over.

Sanchez faces speeding charges as a result of the accident.

Coudersport Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene. Kightlinger Motors towed the vehicle from the scene.
