Update on Watrous Gas Well Incident

WATROUS – Officials from Ultra Resources, Inc., the company that owns and operates the gas well where a recent accident occurred has released further information regarding the incident.

According to Ultra Officials the cause of the accident was “equipment failure”.

The accident is being labeled as an industrial accident, and the DEP has said they see no need to investigate the matter as there was no fluid or toxic chemicals spilled.

Ultra Officials still have not released the names of the two men injured.
