Valorie S. Safford

Valorie S. Safford, 37, of Port Allegany, died Wednesday (December 29, 2010) in the Select Specialty Hospital, Erie.

She was born Sept. 1, 1973 in Coudersport, a daughter of Victor C. and Susan A. Brewer Safford.

Miss Safford was a 1991 graduate of Port Allegany High School and attended the Seneca Highlands Area Vocational Technical School.

Miss Safford had worked as a clerk for the former Widman’s Store and also for Sheetz of Port Allegany. Miss Safford enjoyed playing games of all kinds, crossword puzzle books and spending time on the computer.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by:
One brother: Victor R. Safford of Port Allegany, PA
Maternal Grandfather, Robert Brewer of Shinglehouse, PA.
And several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA, where funeral and committal services will be held on Monday, Jan. 3, at 11:00 am, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Grimes Cemetery, Liberty Twp.
