Vape Shop Robbery Alert
A vape shop in Eldred, Pennsylvania, was reportedly robbed on Monday afternoon, prompting a search by the Pennsylvania State Police for the suspect. The incident occurred at Gambit Ruse, a specialty vape and glass shop located at 184 Main St.
According to the shop’s Facebook post, the suspect is described as a 6-foot-1, 260-pound man, last seen on foot in Eldred, possibly heading towards Portville, New York. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and a black mask. The police are urging residents to be on the lookout for the suspect, who is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old.
The shop has asked nearby businesses and homeowners to review their security footage between 11:30 a.m. and noon to see if they can spot the suspect. The police are also warning the public to be cautious, as the suspect allegedly pulled a gun during the robbery.
The incident has also affected the nearby Otto-Eldred School District, which has taken precautions to ensure student safety. The school district has announced alternative dismissal procedures, including requiring walkers to be picked up and parents to follow specific pickup procedures.
