Various Upcoming Events at CCMH

A cancer support group will meet at 7 p.m. March 21 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital’s Patterson Cancer Care Center.

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital’s oncology and medical staff will provide free skin and oral cancer screenings from 7:30-9:30 a.m., March 26 at CCMH’s Patterson Cancer Care Center. Light refreshments will be served. Call 877/274-8200 for an appointment.

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital will host Grief Connection, a bereavement support group, at 7 p.m. March 22 at the Patterson Cancer Care Center.

A therapeutic touch basic course will be held in March at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

The course will meet at CCMH’s Wellness Center from 6 to 9 p.m., March 25 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 26. The cost includes lunch and beverages and is $105, or half price for those retaking the course.

The course will be taught by Judy Custer, a nurse practitioner who has practiced and taught TT for 30 years. Participants will learn the history of TT, how to be an effective healer, centering techniques, and phases and scientific basis for TT.
