Veterans’ Outreach Visit At Coudersport Legion Wednesday

Potter County Veterans Affairs Director Byron Sutton has announced his next field visit will be held at American Legion Post 192 in Coudersport on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 1-3 pm. Sutton is anxious to meet with area military veterans and/or their family members to discuss benefit programs, such as health care, pensions and disability compensation, and to assist them in any other way. He emphasized that benefit programs are frequently changing, including a new initiative to help those veterans who may have been exposed to radiation as part of their service. Sutton’s office is in the F. W. Gunzburger County Office Building at 1 North Main Street in Coudersport and is open Mondays and Tuesdays, 9 am to 3 pm, and other days by appointment.
