VIDEO: Budget Bill Passes House
1 min readThe Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed Governor Tom Corbett’s proposed budget yesterday by a vote of 109-92.
All House Democrats, and two House Republicans voted no, stating the budget, which cuts $1.5 billion from education spending, would further burden taxpayers while drastically hurting our children’s educational futures.
The Bill will now move on to the Senate.
If passed by the Senate and signed by Governor Tom Corbett before the June 30 deadline, it would be the first time in nine years that Pennsylvania passed a budget on time.
