Warren Man faces Child Porn Charges
1 min readWARREN – A Warren man faces 20 felony Possession of Child Pornography charges, as well as 1 count of Possession of an Instrument with Intent to Commit a Crime.
Twenty-year-old Benjamin Hanes, of Jackson Road, Sugar Grove, PA, was charged by State Police after they conducted a search of his residence.
The search was the result of an investigation by the PA State Police Computer Crimes Unit, which was investigating the activity of shared child pornography over the internet.
Police say a search warrant executed on Hanes’ home yielded several digital storage devices which contained child pornography.
Hanes faces a Preliminary Hearing on February 9.
He is currently free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
