Weather Responsible for Deadly Route 120 Crash

CLINTON COUNTY – A woman is dead following an accident that occurred around noon on Saturday, December 4 on Route 120 in Clinton County.

According to WNEP, fire fighters at the scene of the accident tell them an SUV was headed east on Route 120, when it started sliding on the snow covered road and crossed into the westbound lanes, before being struck by a tractor trailer.

A woman who was traveling in the SUV was killed. Officials have yet to release details.

The driver was also injured and was flown via medicopter to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville.

The tractor trailer driver was uninjured.
