Wesley Snipes Reports to FCI McKean

Wesley Snipes has begun serving his 36-month sentence in a McKean county federal correctional institute. The actor reported to FCI-McKean earlier today.

Snipes will spend the next three years among approximately another 300 minimum security prisoners.

Snipes was convicted on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file income tax returns.

Snipes and his lawyer were unsuccessful in attempts to appeal the conviction, and were denied an emergency motion for a new trial yesterday.
