West Branch Man’s Identity Used for Verizon Account

WEST BRANCH TWP. – Coudersport-based State Police say they investigated an incident of fraud in which a man’s identity was forged to gain access to a Verizon Wireless telephone account.

Police say on or about October 16, 2009, unknown person(s) signed up for an account in the name of 57-year-old Seth Burrous, of West Branch, without his approval.

An investigation into the theft continues.
