Westfield Man Arrested for Stealing Car
1 min readTIOGA CO. – A Westfield man has been arrested and jailed on charges that he stole a woman’s car on October 23, 2010.
23-year-old Brett M. Kreitner, of Westfield, PA, has been charged by Mansfield-based State Police with theft by unlawful taking and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Police allege that Kreitner stole the woman’s vehicle from a bar on Route 287, in Tioga Township, after she had earlier given him a ride from Elkland in the car.
Surveillance video reportedly shows Kreitner parking his truck at a nearby parking lot and later returning to the bar’s parking lot in her vehicle, before getting back in his truck and leaving.
Kreitner is currently incarcerated in the Tioga County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
A Preliminary Hearing has been scheduled for February 16th at 11:30 am in District Judge James E. Carlson’s courtroom.
