All summer long your local community blood bank has been asking you to donate blood. But what does that really mean? Who does your blood donation help? Hear what our donors have to say…
“When I was 8 years old I was hit by a car and almost died. Without the gift of blood, I would not have made it.” – Eric L.
“Suppose you needed blood and they said, ‘Sorry, we’re all out.'” — Dan T.
“When we ask you to donate blood, we’re asking you to help your neighbors, family and friends right here in Potter County,” says Lora Cope, Mobile Drive Coordinator, Potter & Tioga Counties.
“There is still a critical blood shortage locally, so stop in and tell us why you donate at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, August 3rd from 10 am – 4 pm or Harrison Valley Community Building on Wednesday, August 10th from 11 am -5 pm.
