Williamsport has seen it’s share of violence in the recent past, and Sunday evening was no different.
An hour long State Police manhunt ended around 7:40 Sunday evening when an accused burglary felon was shot in the stomach by police officers in South Williamsport. The manhunt involved a helicopter and several police agencies.
The suspect was transported to an area hospital. Officials have not released his name or condition.
