Winds Toppled Trees, Power Lines, Left Residents without Power
1 min readHigh winds and rain were to blame for sporadic power outages across the region yesterday, brought on by fallen trees and downed power lines.
Emergency crews from across North Central PA were called out for numerous reports of trees and wires in the road.
Residents in Shinglehouse, Galeton, Port Allegany, Cyclone, and Lewis Run were without power for several hours.
Mother Nature should offer some reprieve today as winds die down to around 10 mph, with a 70 percent chance of rain. Expect temperatures in the mid to upper forties.
