Wisconsin Man Sentenced for Potter County Assault
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – A Wisconsin man has been sentenced in Potter County court for an assault that took place in the Borough of Coudersport on June 27, 2010.
Twenty-four-year-old Stephen J. Imboden, of Port Wasington, WI, pleaded guilty to charges of Simple Assault and Harassment.
In June of last year, State Police received a report of an assault in the Borough of Coudersport. Upon arriving at the scene, they found the victim to have suffered visible injuries to his face. Police were informed that Imboden had entered the victim’s bedroom and attacked him, striking him several times in the face and head – an accusation which was corroborated by a witness at the scene.
Imboden was sentenced to two years of probation, a fine of $500 and 25 hours of community service for Simple Assault. He was sentenced to a fine of $25 for Harassment.
