Woman Charged with DUI Following Crash in Coudersport

COUDERSPORT – A Smethport woman has been charged with DUI following an accident that occurred in Coudersport during the early morning hours Friday, February 18.

Police say 34-year-old Amy M. Greene, of Smethport, was driving south on North West Street in the Borough of Coudersport when she stuck a snow pile in the median of the road, and as a result flipped her car onto it’s side.

Greene, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was not injured.

Police say upon investigating the crash they learned that Greene was intoxicated.

Charges of DUI will be filed in Annette Easton’s courtroom.
