Woman Jailed on Charges of Stealing Car, Possessing Heroin Paraphernlia
1 min readTIOGA CO. – A 21-year-old Tioga County woman is behind bars, accused of stealing a car and being in possession of drug paraphernalia.
State Police in Mansfield say Samantha Colton took a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, belonging to 56-year-old Randle Colton, without his permission. Police say the woman was discovered driving the vehicle along N. Williamson Road in Covington Township.
After being taken into custody, police say they discovered empty plastic bindles which previously contained suspected heroin. The containers were in plain view in the bottom of the driver’s side door, according to police.
Colton was charged in District Court 04-3-03 and remanded to the Tioga County Prison.
